College Diploma
Yesterday was my graduation day, an important day not only for me but for my parents as well. When we arrived in PICC. I can see every family having to wear not only their biggest smiles but also their killer dresses! Haha! We arrived an hour before the actually ceremony just to be sure that I am not going to make scene on that day because of being late. My Dad, dropped us of in the entrance and the first thing I did was to look around for my classmates, good thing I saw my friend arriving. We were asked by the ushers to come inside the assembly area. Inside the receiving area we were all busy fixing ourselves and having our pictures taken with friends. Everybody were just savoring the moment that was.
While we were entering the Plenary Hall, there are things that are running through my head. After graduation, will be an end to another beginning and I have to ready about it.Now, I am not going to face the four walls to the classrooms but the world. I am not going to meet my new classmates but I am going to meet new people. I am constantly asking myself, am I ready to face this challenge? It just feels like the first time I entered my Kindergarten class where I don’t know what to do.
I just need to embrace change.

Congratulations on graduation! That is a very wonderful thing. I remember the day I finished college, I chose not to attend graduation. It was later in my life that I attended college and the graduation was just another night away from my family. If I had known then what I know now, I would have attended graduation.
Best of luck as you enter the real world. Keep your eye on the prize, and remember, it is not true “the man with the most toys, wins.” The man with the most toys dies too. Make a difference in the lives of your friends. That is the true measure of character. Don’t rely on others, make them want to rely on you.
