FLUFFY Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day to you, Mama…
There are several things that I want to tell you but I haven’t because I don’t want to sound very cheesy about it. And I know you don’t want me to be melodramatic about it anyway.
Thank you for being my teacher. Thanks for teaching me how to add, subtract, multiply and divide even how accounting works in a simple manner but not for calculus and trigonometry. Thanks for teaching me how to write and to read. I can still clearly remember every afternoon tutorial sessions after my kindergarten class after watching Eat Bulaga. Thanks for paying the five peso pizza credit because I lost my money. Thanks for not attending every PTA meeting because I told you so and I do not want to bother you for work also. I know how your job means to you and for our family. I understand it, completely. Thanks for helping me with my art projects even though you are guilty that you are not good with it also. I accepted the fact that we are not really blessed with an artistic hands. Thanks for attending each recognition day, I hope I made you happy for each and every medal that I get because it is all for you and pop.
Thanks for sending me in a Catholic institution when I was in high school where I did learn a lot especially drinking alcohol - occasionally and pray the rosary, BIG TIME! Thanks for understanding my three 77 grades from Biology, Values Education and in THE. That when we both realized one thing, people change and its not about the grades but the irony is that it is not reflected on our Form 137. Have I told you that I was scolded by some of my teachers and called in the guidance office for four times, once every year? I know I didn’t. SORRY!
Thanks for sending me in College. For all the sacrifices that that you have done not only for me but for the family as well. For waking up every morning just to be able to attend to my needs like preparing my breakfast, my uniform, even for reminding me the things that I have to bring for my class.
I want to thank you for backing me up for every decisions that I make. I really admire you for that.
You know that I love you and that will not ever change.
Your son,
Andrew
