The Curse of the Lazy Monday
Today, isn’t Monday - I know that for a fact.
Once a upon meow, there was this student residing in Cavite who goes to school everyday - in Manila, a two to three hour long trip that includes the traffic. He had to wake up around four in the morning, be prepared and leave home before five so that he can be able to catch the first trip of the bus to Manila - not to be late for his seven thirty class.
After catching the first trip all he could think of is to pay the bus fee and finding a comfortable way to sleep in a sitting position and continue his pursuit of happily ever after on his unended dream - which is one out of a thousand chance. If he is lucky enough to have his chance to continue his dream, he may wake up knowing that he now stuck in a traffic jam, Manila style.
Why am I writing this, I know you are asking. Its just that I feel the same, waking up on a Monday morning. It is just so weird.
I bet that we all agree with what the lazy Monday mean to us: Its having left with no choice but to be prepared, caught wearing our battle uniforms with sleepy heads under the soldier’s head gear.
PS: Maybe it is also the curse of the lazy Monday that I haven’t got the chance to post this on a Monday.
